Written and recorded collaboratively by the full 10 piece band and featuring numerous special guests from across the vibrant Toronto Reggae scene, the album offers a dynamic mix of Roots-Reggae, from Dancehall to Rockers, with Jazz and even Brazilian flavours. Conscious lyrics, heavy chant, and the sweet melodies of our vocalists combine with heavy basslines, blazing guitars, and a triumphant horn section that declares: “Reggae nuh weak, Reggae strong, it strong!” The album more than lives up to its title and is a testament that Roots Reggae is alive and well in Canada.
